Airing...

It has been a long time since I last watched a drama weekly as it aired. The last time that I can remember of was at the end of last year with “Secret” aka “Secret Love.” Since then I have attempted to watch A Man From Another Star, Miss Korea other Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese dramas but none have appealed to me.

I also have not watched a drama without having to skip parts and even episodes, until now. Her Lovely heels, began airing 24th February 2014 and is programmed to end March 25, 2014. I have just started watching it. To date there are four episodes and six more to go. It is sad that the series is only going to consist of ten episodes of twelve-to-fifteen minutes. I would like it better if the episode time was extended to thirty minutes. I hate long running dramas because they drag-on and never seem to end, but this one I like, because its shot and they get to the point of the message they are trying to convey in each episode. I hope they can keep me interested, and I can watch this drama without feeling like forcing myself to do so!

In addition I think I am going to watch Bride of the Century. The synopsis sounded interesting; it’s a drama about the largest conglomerate family in South Korea, The Teayang Corporation. For 100 years the family that runs the corporation has been under a curse. This curse began after the family’s first son’s bride died; rumour has it that supposably every bride of the first son is given off to the ghosts of the house as sacrifice. Under this situation, a love like fairy tale occurs while conspiracies run rampant.
The airing of the drama began February 22, 2014 and will conclude April 27, 2014. The drama will consist of 20 episodes, and will be airing on Saturday and Sundays’. If you ask me I don’t think the story is as solid as Her Lovely Heels, therefore I do not believe this drama should have so many episodes, but I am going to watch it anyway because I like the overall plot.

While writing this post    went and tried to find the latest two episodes (episodes three and four) the only site they have been publish on they are RAW and not subbed. I have only watched episode three and will wait until the episodes have been subbed, because I understand absolutely nothing of what was said. Through their actions I have been able to piece together what is happening in the story. The last time I watched a RAW drama was when Master’s Sun was airing. Every week when it aired I would wait impatiently for the episodes to be uploaded and then after watching them I would wait frustratingly for the following episodes.

If I don’t stop now I am never going to end this post. Therefore I must conclude her, until next time Jo_lee signing out.
